365 days counted
a memory we will never forget
hopes seeming to be lost forever
dreams that will never set

Thinking about today
since the devasting tragedy last year
we all have to go on with our lives
only memories we hold onto tightly
crying inside, hoping the easier it gets

Many thanks to everyone, we all did our part
citizens, rescue 911, the ones who fought for me and you
the loved ones within our hearts

Red, white and blue God Bless The USA
we all must stick together
to stop the fighting, terriorism and aching pain

United We Stand together
bringing many smiles and love
each of us have been scarred last year today
a wound we all must deal with
a wound that is here to stay

Strength we all must maintain
deeply within our souls
all the wonderful memories to share
about the ones who you all have lost
due to the tragedy a year ago

GOD is our guidence leader
helps us in leading us our ways
sometimes it can be easy
then due for a challenge or even dismay

All appreciate the life we were given
stopping the grudges, hate, all the hellish ways
you will think about it next time
please do before it's too late
here one day and also gone the same day
